NEW CANDYS

Guidati dal cantante-chitarrista e autore Fernando Nuti con il bassista-tastierista Dario Lucchesi, la formazione si completa con Emanuele Zanardo alla chitarra e cori e Francesco Giacomin alla batteria e sampler.
La loro città natale, Venezia, è presente in modo sottile grazie ad un’estetica mirata, curata negli artwork dei loro quattro album realizzati da Nuti stesso.
Con molti tour internazionali alle spalle, sono arrivati a suonare in tutta Europa, UK, Stati Uniti, Canada, Messico ed Australia. I festival più importanti a cui hanno partecipato includono il SXSW, Treefort Fest e Psycho Las Vegas nel 2022, Levitation France e Desert Stars a Joshua Tree nel 2019 e Sydney e Melbourne Psych Fest da headliner nel 2018, nello stesso anno hanno registrato una session per la radio KEXP. Hanno aperto i concerti ad artisti come The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols e The Black Angels in tutta Europa, arrivando a suonare alla Roundhouse di Londra, all’Olympia di Parigi e all’Huxleys Neue Welt di Berlino. Iggy Pop li ha definiti “kinky” e Gordon Raphael, storico produttore dei The Strokes, ha speso parole di stima per la band. Alcune delle loro canzoni sono presenti in episodi della serie TV “Shameless”.
Il loro ultimo album “Vyvyd”, uscito nel 2021, è stato mixato da Tommaso Colliva (Calibro 35, Jesus And Mary Chain, Damon Albarn), produttore vincitore di un Grammy Award. Il 12 maggio 2023 esce il singolo “Everything’s Fucking Boring” con la partecipazione di Bugo.

ELLI DE MON
Elli de Mon is rezophonic guitar, drums, bells, voice and saturated sound: a real onewomanband. Strongly influenced by the primordial blues tradition (Bessie Smith, Fred Mc Dowell, Son House) as well as by the very first garage punk appeal, Elli’s sound is shaped into a lysergic journey through her soul. Her six albums (Elli de Mon – Corpoc, Ammonia Records, 2014; II – Pitshark Records, 2015, Vs – Ammonia Records, 2016; Blues tapes: the indian sessions – Pitshark Records, 2017; Songs of mercy and Desire – Pitshark Records, 2018; VS Daily Thompson, Ammonia Records, 2020) have been acclaimed by critics and audiences and allowed Elli to play hundreds of shows around Europe, sharing also the stage with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, Nick Oliveri, The Devil Makes Three, James Leg, Reverend Beatman, the Monsters, Chuck Ragan, Big John Bates, Cedric Burnside, the Daily Thompson and many others.

In june 2021 the album Countin’ the blues: Queens of the 20’s came out, signed by Area Pirata Records. It follows the book with the same title, published by Arcana Editrice in 2020. She also wrote other two books “Murder Ballads” and “La settimana della banana”, inspired by Velvet Underground.

In May 2023 a new work: Pagan Blues, which explores darker atmospheres and sounds. A night journey through ancient worlds.
